You can create an AI video from a ChatGPT conversation by connecting Akool and asking it to animate a still image or turn a text prompt into a clip. ChatGPT helps you write and refine the shot. The connected Akool app handles video generation. If you would rather work with every model and setting on screen, the same engine runs in the Akool AI video generator on the web.

What you can make from a ChatGPT chat

Once Akool is connected, ChatGPT can send two kinds of video requests:

  • Image to video: animate a product photo, a storyboard frame, or a still you generated earlier in the chat.
  • Text to video: describe a scene in words and let Akool generate the clip from scratch.

Short, single-shot clips work best in chat: product teasers, social loops, ad concepts, and quick storyboard tests. For longer edits, avatars, or translated versions of a video, finish the clip in Akool afterwards.

1. Connect Akool to ChatGPT

  1. Open Akool Integrations and choose ChatGPT under Connect AI agents.
  2. Select Connect to ChatGPT and follow the prompts to add Akool and sign in to your Akool account.
  3. Start a new chat and select Akool from the available apps. If you use a managed workspace, ask your admin whether apps are enabled.

2. Pick one still image and one camera move

For your first clip, use a product photo you have permission to use, or ask Akool to generate a still first. Choose a clear subject with room around it. Start with a slow push-in, a gentle pan, or a small movement in the scene. A single motion makes it easier to see what the prompt changed.

3. Try this product video prompt

Use Akool to turn this product image into a short vertical video. Keep the product’s shape, label, and colors close to the reference. Make a slow camera push-in while a soft highlight moves across the background. Keep the product still. No cuts, new text, or extra objects. Before generating, confirm which image Akool can access and tell me the available duration and aspect ratio options.

If Akool cannot access the attachment, ask ChatGPT which image input the app accepts. If you generated a still with Akool in the chat, ask it to use that result. Choose a supported duration and aspect ratio, then ask it to generate the clip.

4. Review the result and revise one detail

Open the returned clip and check the product label, framing, and motion. If the motion is too strong, keep the same image and ask for a gentler push-in. If a logo or label distorts, try a more static shot and add critical text during editing.

Choosing a video model

Akool runs several video models, including Kling, Veo, and Seedance. Each one handles motion, realism, and prompt detail a little differently, so the same prompt can come back with a different feel. You can ask in the chat: “Which video models can Akool use for this clip, and which one keeps product details sharpest?” Then run the same prompt on two models and keep the better result.

Comparing models side by side is easier in the AI video generator, where you can switch models, durations, and aspect ratios without rewriting the prompt.

Prompt tips that save credits

  • Describe one shot, not a story. One subject, one camera move, one action. Multi-scene prompts tend to blur together.
  • Say what must not change. Phrases like “keep the label readable” or “keep the face close to the reference” help protect the parts that matter.
  • Name the format up front. Ask for vertical for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, or horizontal for YouTube and web pages.
  • Ask ChatGPT to tighten the prompt first. Paste your idea and ask it to rewrite it as one short, specific shot description before Akool generates anything.
  • Change one thing per retry. If you change the motion, the lighting, and the model at once, you won’t know which change helped.

Two more prompts to try

  • Social teaser: Use Akool to animate this coffee cup photo. Keep the cup and label still. Add subtle rising steam and a slow sideways camera move. Leave space above the cup for a caption I’ll add later.
  • Storyboard test: Use Akool to animate this storyboard still. Keep the character’s face and outfit close to the reference. Let the curtains move gently while the camera stays locked. Make it one continuous shot.

Troubleshooting

  • Akool doesn’t appear in ChatGPT: start a new chat after connecting, and check that apps are allowed in your workspace.
  • The image isn’t picked up: ask ChatGPT which image input Akool accepts, or generate the still with Akool inside the same chat.
  • Text or logos warp: use less camera motion, or generate the clip without text and add it during editing.
  • The result looks too busy: remove extra actions from the prompt and ask for a locked camera.

Where to go next

When a clip works, you can take it further in Akool: translate it with lip-sync, add an AI avatar presenter, or test more variations in the AI video generator.
